The setup of Japanese “business” hotels is typically the same. Basic toiletries are included for your stay. The bathrooms all usually follow the same setup:
- Automatic “washlet” toilet
- Small shower with a bath
- Removable shower head
- Toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, soap and more)
The bathroom pictured is from the Hotel New Hankyu in Osaka.
This photo shows the supplied face wash, shampoo, conditioner and body soap. On the shower’s tap is a selector to direct water to the shower head or the bath.
This setup makes traveling very convenient. You could travel Japan, staying at hotels and capsule hotels, using only hotel supplied toiletries.
It definitely helps to keep your luggage light!
