Shinsaibashi, Osaka – Samurai Sword Shaped Building
The building has some high end fashion stores like Zara, an upmarket cake shop and more. It’s next door to Shinsaibashi’s UniQlo (a very cool looking building itself!) and H&M.
The long strip mall that runs through this area is called Shinsaibashi-suji 「心斎橋筋」. Shinsaibashi 「心斎橋」 is the name of the area/suburb and suji 「筋」 can be translated to mall. Shinsaibashi-suji connects to Ebisubashi-suji and Amerikamura to form a massive shopping district.
You could easily spend the whole day shopping in this area, and still not see all the shops!
