After staying at many, many Japanese “business” hotels, you get the knack of sorting the good from the bad, smelly, old and dirty. The Hotel New Hankyu Osaka is a good, cheap hotel, centrally located to many transit services, making it perfect for travelers of Japan.
Hotel New Hankyu Osaka
I stayed here after arriving at Kansai International Airport on a flight from Gold Coast, Australia. The reason I chose this hotel is because it’s right next door to Umeda Station and Osaka Station. An airport limousine bus services runs to and from the airport from Umeda Station, which is literally just a few steps from Hotel New Hankyu Osaka.
It’s a great place to start or finish your holiday from. Osaka Station connects to Shin-Osaka Station in just a few minutes. At Shin-Osaka Station you can collect your JR Pass and then set off on the bullet train.
I’m a very light sleeper, and even though this is the center of a busy city, I had a very peaceful sleep. Would definitely stay here again.
